True Photo Journal, № 11
True Photo Journal is an independent, large-format photography magazine that showcases unpublished and personal projects by established and emerging photographers. Founded in 2015 by Brendan Freeman (fashion photographer and art director) and Peter Hughes (creative director), the journal provides a platform for photographers to experiment, create, or revisit their work outside the constraints of commercial or editorial briefs.
The issue #11 comes in hard cover and features artwork from Carmen Winant’s ongoing project, My Mother and Eye, which assembles hundreds of stills from films that Carmen and her mother each made as teenagers driving across the United States.
