Pamplemousse platforms emerging and established talents in the world of film photography.

This 13th issue, themed ‘Recollection’, inspired by found vernacular photographs and the act of collecting them, explores themes of memory, family, identity, and personal history.

The magazine is layered, assembled out of the found inspiration material, a vintage photo album from the collection of Project B, cover artist Cody Bratt’s project that reimagines his family’s archive, and contemporary analog projects by artists from all over the world. This issue invites the reader to consider the history of photography as a whole, its role in the everyday life of the “amateur,” its use as a tool for creating “fine art,” and where those lines blur.
