Fräulein, a German magazine by Numéro Berlin art director Goetz Offergeld, draws inspiration from the strength and beauty of women. It explores their role in contemporary culture and fashion, and their place in society. The bold content is matched by radical design from Mike Meiré, the graphic mind behind 032c, A Magazine, Blau, Arch+, and other print masterpieces.

The magazine’s name creates a striking linguistic contrast — Fräulein has largely fallen out of use in German due to its reference to a woman’s marital status. But here, it takes on a fitting new context, proudly displayed on the cover.

Fräulein Issue 38 tackles the divided state of today’s world, exploring the evolution of wokeness and its impact on pluralism. Advocating for free thinking, compassion, and voices of reason, this issue calls for openness and kindness in the face of rising ideological extremes.
